I'm still learning about this myself, but from what I read online when the LH levels are twice or more times the FSH it is an indicator of PCOS. Though I have yet to get back in contact with my Dr after my diagnosis (I received the results in the mail), my FSH level was 3.6 and my LH was 12.9 which my dr wrote was "definitely double the 3.6 and usually indicates polycystic ovaries". When I had my bloodwork done I also had to have an ultrasound because my dr said both had to be used in the diagnosis.
