Question Do I need a V-8?

I've been doing well on the met for atleast a couple of weeks now, So I decided to add in the exercise. (low impact for 1/2 hour to start) I'm noticing that when I exercise, I start to feel nauseous, and then for the rest of the day I feel like I want to throw up, or just really yucky. The other thing I noticed is I feel like the people in those V-8 commercials. I feel like I'm slanted and it makes the nausea worse. I don't think a v-8 will make me feel better. In fact, the thought of any food or drink brings on the desire to throw up. Anyone have any ideas on what's happening with me? I even ate a balanced breakfast before I started. (1 slice french toast w/ sugar free jam, 1/2 sugar free yogart, and 1 fried egg, with water to drink...) I don't think I feel shakey, although a dull headache seems to loom...

You know, I didn't think about that, but I noticed the same thing today...Hmmm, Maybe I should set my alarm for a midnight snack!!!

I'm also wondering if the yucky feeling after exercise will go away if I eat something....Hmmmm I'll have to give it a try.

Hey Paige, maybe you should have a midnight snack then eat breakfast after you work out. I work out at work in the gym after work at like 11:30 at night and I noticed if I eat to late at night(sometimes do not take dinner until like 9 or 10 pm because Er is so unpredicatble) I don't feel so hot while working out. Kinda blahg. Give it a try, never know. : )

Hi Sweetie!

Let's see if I understand this right, have a light snack prior to exercise, and eat after word? There may be something to that. I'll have to keep you up on how it goes.

Paige

PS How are you feeling/doing?

I think it might work for you. It always makes my belly hurt to eat then work out. Try something light, maybe a half of a bagel or something low carb if you are doing that. Maybe a little yogurt might do the trick. Let me know how it goes.

I am going to go to our thread and post my AF news. : ( See on the other thread! BYE!!

Sorry to tell you this, but I went through feeling generally yucky for a few months. I hope yours is only exercise related and the snack tip helps.

Hang in there, it will get better!
