Unhappy Do you bruise easily?

I seem to find bruises all over me now. My thighs, upper arms and bum area especially. I don't remember it ever being like this. Right now I have a huge bruise on my bum, another on my thigh, two smaller ones on my upper right arm, one on my left upper arm and one on the calf of my left leg. I don't know how they got there. It's so weird. Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks

Never really gave it much thought until your post, but YEP!! I bruise real easy. I have even had people who know my DH and I real well kid me about him doing it.

He doesn't by the way. I bruise on my legs, thighs and upper and lower arms.

Post yeppers..

Yes, I bruise easily. I also notice it takes a lot longer than normal for things such as scratches and zit-pops (yeah, I know it's bad for me! ) to heal. My bloodcount type thing was all normal.

Yep, I bruise really easily too (most of the time I have no idea how I got them)...and it takes me a LONG time to heal from them (at least twice as long as most people).

Cool I do too

Yep me too.

i recently went on vacation with my honey and I look like he had beaten me. (he never would though he know better) We had recently moved into our new home the week prior to our vacation. I had bruises all over my legs from walking into the boxes, to carrying heavy trash bags, you name it, I did it and I got bruised. Even while on vacation, we went to a water fall and where in some rapid water. A rock hit the back of my leg and yep you guessed it a bruise appeared. My honey and I can't even play or mess around without him leaving a bruise on me. He never does anything to hurt me but just by grabbing my leg or bum, it leaves a bruise.

Does anyone know why we bruise so easily? is it realted to PCOS or something else. I know at one time they used to say diabetics bruised easy.

When my sister was 2 years old, she brusied all the time. People thought that my parents were beating her because if you just picked her up, she would bruise. She was diagnosed with a blood disorder. I'm not sure exactly what is was called though. I was only 4 at the time and it was in 1985. I can tell you that she doesn't have it now. She is 19. I'm not sure if she was put on meds or what. My point is, go talk to a Dr. and get tested for any blood problems. Good luck to you!
