Oh 'ya I SO understand! 3 years ago, my PCOS went crazy! I went to the (on base chop shop) I was 124 pounds. I went in because of face hair was ignored and then stomach pain was ignored, acne etc. I complained of major pain in the women zone during a pap, so they did an extra pap for an STD. (I've been with my hubby for 8 years, he has never cheated/we've never has an STD) and I didn't a have STD, how degrading. I complained Each time I went into the on base chop shop and the weight kept creeping up! I got a referrral to go to a licenced OB/GY off base for essure. I told them and they thought I had PCOS. Last year my weighted over 140+. I couldn't get a referal to see them again! Long story short, the Dermo called the on base chop shop and yelled at them. Got a diagnoses this year! I'm now 129 pounds. It took 3 years with major signs! |
