I have never posted in this thread before, but the oddest things have been happening to me and I am wondering if I am being prepared for another blessing in my life. Long story short I have never had AF without the help of meds (I am 29 years old) and a few weeks ago I had some spotting it stopped and a few days ago I started spotting again and it comes and goes. Anyways the reason I am wondering if I am being prepared for another blessing is because I adopted a little boy who is almost 19 months old now and have been praying for another child because I want DS to have a sibling. anyways last night I had a dream that someone called me and asked me if I wanted another baby I said yes so they said to me "well I have a friend who does not want their baby are you interested?" I said I had to think about it and left. Well in my dream I told my mother that I wanted the baby's middlename to be Alexander and she said that should be the baby's first name so we started discussing it and I was called and told to go to the hospital the next day to pick up the baby when I got there my cousin was sitting in the room never said a word to me never touched the baby anything. I named the baby Alexander in my dream! The funny thing about it is I put the dream in the back of my mind and my brother-in-law stopped by the house and asked one of the kids I babysit if his name is Alexander? My jaw hit the floor I never told anyone about the dream last night as soon as he said it goose bumps went up my arm and I started wondering if I am being prepared for another blessing in my life.
Before I got the call for my son I kept having this reoccuring dream that I was carrying around a cute little chunky boy and it came true. What do you think?

I think that usually dreams are wish fullfillment to ease our tensions in life. However, science has not been able to explain maternal intuition. Some see it as a gift from God. One of the best pieces of advice I have ever been given is that if God wants to make something clear in your life, there will be no mistaking it. God prepared me for my DH by getting me to the point where I said that I could live in Christ without a husband. It was a short time later God brought DH into my life. I think God prepares us in many ways, especially through prayer and Bible reading. We just need to make sure we are listening with discernment which is the hardest part.
Personally I think dreams are a reflection of our conscious and unconscious.
That being said...I truly believe God talks to us and sometimes we can't 'hear' but have heard. Also, I believe that people have a soul connection that our subconscious pick up on...
Sound new agey but hear me out. I do not believe that our brain signals stop when they hit our skull. When someone is part of you you can feel them. Its why you know who walked in a room. Its why my best friend, sister and grandmother all called me within a day of my accident (unusual in my life). And its why time and time again you can see at a play ground a mother turning and catching her child just as they fall, or seeing a mother 'know' a fall was going to happen despite no visual proof. and its why I feel connected to my husband every second of the day.
So Yes you could be prepairing yourself for something that you some how know is to come.
