I guess I should have answered I have it too. I was diagnosed last April. The surgery wasn't as bad as I was worried it would be. I was curious how many of us have both.

I was diagnosed Aug 2003, VIA lap along with a D&C. It was very early stages and my Dr removed it.

My doctor has suggested I might have endo, but we haven't looked into confirming it yet. I am a little scared of having surgery just to get a diagnosis. Is there even anything they can do to help with endometriosis? And if not, what's the point of having the lap?

They can remove what they see and laser off some of the tissue to prevent growth temporarily.

I had my appendix removed at the same time. Because it was inflamed and well you don't need it anyway.

I think there are more of us, some just haven't posted on here. There are so many things that people tend to have with PCOS, it's amazing.

I agree. I do think there are more. Search endometriosis here and you'll find them.

I started an endo support thread. I'd love for some of you ladies to come check it out.

I was dx w/ endo during my lap about 6 months ago. I have both external (which was removed) and internal (where the uterine lining grows into the uterine muscle and there's not tx for it).

The nurst practitioner thinks I have it. I have to go to see the Dr. next week. They want me to be tested for interstitial cystitis first though and then they said they would have to do testing to rule out any intestinal problems first so I haven't got the ball rolling because I don't have the money for all these specialist and test. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I've often wondered if I have it because my menstrual cramps are so bad. I don't have any other symptoms like pain during the month, heavy bleeding or irregular bleeding.
