readysetxplode, I have tried to do what you say you do as well! But I don't have much luck... I have a barrel chest and my breasts are set far appart, so they either don't fit around my chest or it looks like my boobies are squished in the middle of my wide chest, and the cup gets folded and all messed up... Grrrr.
Bra shopping is the dumps, man.
For real. I feel your painn. Gah.
Does anyone know what if taking straight estrogen would do anything? Or would women have better luck with medicine lowering the testosterone? I know little to nothing about medicine, lol.
I don't think i do, i have huge boobs not bragging believe me. i hate them i am 4 foot 11 and my boobs are a 38j not fun at all. i do have a tube like form to them and they do not seem very full at the top also i have huge areolas. I dont know if all of this is just from having big boobs though.
I have it as well. I am super embarrassed about my breasts. My boyfriend and I have been dating for over 2 years and I still can't bare the thought of taking my bra off in front of him - i feel so ugly. I know every woman has one breast larger than the other but mine are drastically difference. I can't be intimate with my boyfriend without a bra on. Is anyone else like this? Does anybody know of any options to help with this besides breast implants?

I think that's typical of tubular (or tuberous) breasts -- in an extreme form they tend to be a bit sausage-like with very large areolas.
so can tubular breasts affect anysize because im a c cup but my boobs sort of fit the description, do peoples nipples point downwards. im only 18 and yes ok im overweight but my boobs arent pert like you would expect them to be :S
thanks for your help ladies

I'm not too sure about mine... I've always thought they looked small next to my large stature, but they aren't really tubular. They are widely spaced, but my nipples aren't huge by any means. And I don't have one that is significantly bigger than the other. It's a little frustrating not knowing. I've always been pretty self conscious about them, but I'm not sure if I should be... I'm almost tempted to post a pic and have you guys tell me! LOL

Photos of the area in question are generally helpful if you're happy about posting them -- but just the area in question.

A GYN is probably the best person to dx the problem. We get fed the line by women's magazines, tv, etc. that most women have even sized breasts, C cup, with no irregularities. That's just not the case. There is a great variation within "normal." You can google Hypoplastic breasts and see what women who have been dxed with this problem look like.
I googled it, but didn't get very many pictures. But I AM on my work computer, so maybe that's why. Probably not the best thing to be looking up while at work anyways. LOL. I will have to look further into it when I get home!
