Points: 2,836.26 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 2,836.26 | Do you ovulate on your own? From everything I read, it seems one of the major problems with PCOS is women do not ovulate regular.
I am just trying to figure out if something else can cause elevated test. levels because that was the only thing on my blood work not normal. I have been charting for 11 cycles and I usually ovulate day 16 (I have not had an annovulatory cycle yet) and usually have a 32 day cycle. This is based on my temp and external cervical fluid.
I am seeing a naturalist before I get on Clomid or anything else but I was just wondering if you can ovulate without problems and still have PCOS. |

Unfortunately, I know women who do have regular cycles and are still PCOS... ;-( This whole diagnosis is confusing if you ask me! Too many categories to fall under in order to be dx... Anyways, I too ovulate on my own, a majority of the time. But I honestly believe that my annovulatory cycles I have had are major time stress related!

Points: 1,507.41 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,507.41 | I ovulate on my own but I have a 30-40 day cycle and don't ovulate until cd21ish. At my cd4 ultrasound I had around 12 10mm folicles and 3 5mm folicles on each ovary... plus a few other sizes I just can't remember them now. So eventhough I ovulate its not a good ovulation.... I barely get a sustained temp rise without medicine.

What would you guys recommend in order to tell if you ovulate? Does the temp/charting method work?
Thanks |

Not only do you see the temp rise as you go but also when you look back at your charts which should also include symptoms, you will see a pattern. For example if my legs begin to cramp alot and I see a slight rise in temp, then I know I have ovulated. Good luck! |
