Question Do you shave your arms?

Do you shave your arm hair? I have been thinking about it for a while. I have a very fair complexation with dark hair and I have a lot of hair on my arms. My only question is does it come back thicker and darker? Do you shave it all of or do you just trim the hair? Do you use a razor? I know these sound like silly questions but what better place to ask such a question!

I do shave them. I find it never grew back darker and for the most part the hair growth here isn't as fast as in other places. The only time I have had trouble was when I was working in a restaurant and had my hands/arms in water a lot.
Hope that helps

I don't. I did once in 5th grade, and never again! People actually started asking me if I shaved my arms and I was completely self-conscious about it so I let it grow back.

In high school I would bleach it, but having roots really bugged me so I stopped that, too.

Now I trim it with a scissors and let it be.

I have shaved my arms for almost 6 years. Most people don't even notice. I just feel better knowing that my arms are bare! lol

I have been shaving my arms for 14yrs!!! i shave them everyday along with my arm pits .. it really only takes 1min ... i only shave up to the elbow though .... the hair does not come back thicker or dark .. but it does come in picky like your legs .. so if you are letting it grow there is that akward time that you can tell they were shaved ....... hardly any ever notices, i had more poeple notice when they were hairy

I do not shave my arms. To me the hair on the arms doesn't bother me. I do shave practically everything else, but not my arms

I'd love to have mine waxed, but have never done it. I have used a personal trimmer once, but didn't like the result. The arm hair is one of those things I still haven't come to terms with. Ugh.

I do shave them, I also have very fair skin, and dark brown hair. I like the smooth feeling, and now that I'm on met, it takes ages to grow back so I don't have to do it very often.

Every once in a great while I Veet my arm hair. There's so much of it, and usually compared to the rest of my body hair it doesn't bother me as much because I've got so much other hair in so many other annoying places that I just don't worry about it. But sometimes it just seems to suffocate me so off it comes. I won't shave what I don't have to.

i was just going to ask this question, i am juggling with it at the moment, as although i bleach the arm hair it is soooo long.... but i dont see any probs with shaving it......as we shave our legs, and men shave their chests and underarms so its just a personal choice...... i am going to try trimming it see how that goes as it is bleached so fair at the moment, and if i dont like that i will try shaving it at least i can always go back to bleaching

I shaved my arms for 5 years and hated it! My arms are very hairy so I almost always clog the drain. Now I wax, wax, wax! I wax everything from my back to my face. I get a good 2 weeks out of it. Hurts like hell especially on the face but it beats the shadow from shaving!
