Hi,
We have just recently moved to Pratt Kansas which is about 70 miles from Wichita. Does ANYONE know of a good Dr in this area. I am desperate!! I have only 1 ovary left and it feels like there is a cyst on it!!!HELP

I'm not sure exactly where Pratt is, but if you are interested in driving to KC area I went to KU Med Center for treatment. I saw Dr. Marilyn Richardson and Dr. Valerie Montgomery Rice. If I remember correctly Dr. Richardson specializes in PCOS (she's kind of blunt) and Dr. Rice is very nice. They also have a lot of research studies you can participate in to reduce the cost of infertility tx. I don't know how convenient it would be for you, but you may want to check into it. ???

I live real close to Dodge City Kansas, I saw the only RE in Wichita and he was a real JERK!!!! So one of my cyster's on here gave me the number to her Re in Kansas City Kansas, it was a 6 hour drive to get there but VERY WELL WORTH IT!!!!
There are two Dr.s in Shawnee Mission Kansas which is a suburb of KS city KS, There names are Dr. Dan Gehlbach, and Dr. Daniel L. Stewart, Dr Stewart is who I saw and I just loved him to death!!! He had an excellent bed side manner. There phone number is 913-432-7161 their address is 8800 West 75th street Suite 101 Shawnee Mission Kansas, their office is located in The Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Thanks Ladies for the replies. I have made contact with another lady that has PCOS right here in my town. Her DH works with mine. She gave me a name of an OB/GYN in the Wichita just FYI incase you would like to visit him. His name is Dr Byron Cline Wichita OB GYN Asso., 551 N Hillside Suite 510 316-685-0559. She told my DH that he came highly recommended to her. I have yet to talk to her or even called this Dr. I don't know where to begin again. Thanks for your help, it is nice to know that someone else is reading these posts

Go see Dr. Janine Cobb at the Wichita Clinic, Murdock facility in Wichita. She's awesome. She used to be an OB nurse and then went to med school later.
(she was my Dr. when I lived in Wichita)
She only deals with OB patients and GYN problems-- no regular GYN stuff so be sure and tell the nurse you're TTC and only have one ovary. And be pushy if you have to, sometimes they will try to pawn you off on another Dr. because Dr. Cobb is so busy.
Dr. Cobb may refer you to an R.E. after she sees you, but trust me, this is the Dr. you want delivering your baby when you have one. Good luck!
