Doctor in central Appalachian area

Now that my gyno has told me she doesn't feel comfortable treating my cholesterol and triglycerides anymore, and since I'm about 95% sure it's PCOS-related, I'm looking for a new doctor. I need a gyno, endo, or knowledgeable GP somewhere in southwestern or central Virginia, northwestern North Carolina, northeastern Tennessee, or southern West Virginia. I'm not TTC, but I do need someone who will work with me to get the metabolic problems under control.

I don't know about other doctors in the area, but the Endocrinology Associates of Central Virginia in Lynchburg will accept my insurance. Does anyone have experience with any of the doctors there?

Barry W. Donesky, M.D (he is published on PCOS)

I find an address for him in Knoxville and Chattanooga. Not sure exactly where he practices.

I would love to see Dr. Thatcher--I have his book on PCOS and it's great. I've also corresponded with him a little via e-mail. I'll be switching insurance soon for a few months, though, and I don't think they accept the insurance I'll have short-term. So it will be about a year before I'll have insurance that they accept.
