hello,

I went to the doctor today, and she gave me a "freestyle flash" blood gluocose monitor. She had the nurse show me how to use it, but did not tell me how often, what time of day to test. I have never done this before. Can anyone tell me how often and when to test? or show me a website? im confused, lol.

i have always been told to do it before meals and then that would decided on what your going to eat. i would call them and ask them how much they want you to do it bc it can just be in the morning/3x a day before you go to bed ect, it really differes depeding on the pt and there needs.
