I had my first visit with an RE today -- she was EXCELLENT. I can't tell you how happy I am with the way it went.
Dr Kathleen Kornafel in Glendale (LA).

I'm 3 months pregnant now. I actually got pregnant without assistance -- I was just taking Metformin. Her staff monitored the first 10 weeks of my pregnancy, having me come in for regular ultrasounds, etc, and they put a referral through to a perinatologist to do a fancy ultrasound at about 14 weeks. Dr. Kornafel's staff were excellent, and were happy to answer questions over the phone etc. I'm quite fussy about doctors, but I really felt like they knew what they were doing. I had done a LOT of research about PCOS, and Dr. Kornafel was happy to spend time discussing things with me in detail.
If I hadn't gotten pregnant on my own, the first step would have been Clomid+Metformin. But they are able to do everything from Clomid to IVF. Dr Kornafel has a PhD and MD and seems to be very experienced.

Well, I suspect you would need to find a endocrinologist. Dr Kornafel is a reproductive endocrinologist (RE, fertility doctor.)
I'm sorry, I don't know anyone to recomend.
Good luck,
