Try Dr. Geoffrey Redmond. He's the only doctor in a decade that was actually willing to
treat my illness, yaknow, the way doctors are
supposed to do? You would think that in a city like New York there would be a lot of great doctors, but unfortunately, I went to many that either didn't know what PCOS was, outright refused to test me for it when I requested blood tests for it, or finally diagnosed me but refused to medicate me, instead suggesting diet pills or gastric bypass. I only saw Dr. Redmond once so far, but he seemed nice and he knows his stuff and he didn't seem to resent an informed patient (many do). He is pricey and doesn't take insurance but will give you a form to submit to your insurance company if they allow out of network docs. He has a website:
