Just a quick note to recommend Dr. Howard Mezer in Greensboro, NC to any woman needing someone to listen and truly diagnose them. I got my diagnosis just one month ago after spending 17 years with all sorts of gyn difficulties. Between Dr. Mezer, his pA Christie Gibson, and the wonderful staff who even explained my benefits regarding infertility to me before I left - I couldn't have been more impressed. The block out 2 to 3 hours for your first appointment so you have to give a $50 deposit which is refunded when you show up because they devote so much time to you. Within five minutes literally they gave me the diagnosis. PCOS. No it isn't glorifying to get the diagnosis , but it is great when they sit down and write a customized plan of things to accomplish in oreder to get you conceiving. They had info galore for me and I was just in awe of how efficient the entire office works. I am a nurse so I truly understand how much 3 hours of a doctor's and his staff's time is worth. If you think you might have PCOS they can tell you right away.

I second that! I too am a patient of Dr. Mezer. They are very on the ball. I have been very pleased. They seem to stike a very good balance between agressive and conservative treatment.
