Doctor in San Antonio, Texas

I need a doctor from the San Antonio area. Currently, I have to drive to Houston, to see one for my PCOS.
I find that I can't do that any longer and was wondering if anyone knew of any good doctors in S.A., TX.

Hi Keebi,

I'll try to help you with your question now. I went to a practice in SA at one point and I believe it was Dr. Joseph Garza??? I did not see him but one of the other Dr.s in his practice. I was not that impressed and walked away feeling helpless again. BUt, money was a really big issue for me at the time and I wasn't able to communicate with him well because he had a foreign accent. I would search this board. I would definitely try to get Dr. Garza if at all possible.

Also, if you can make the drive to Austin, Dr. Michelle McDermott diagnosed me in 1997. I had no idea what PCOS was and was having a bad acne and weight problem. She is an endocrinologist. To me she was a life saver!
