I went to the doctor today, or resident that is. Didn't find out anything I didn't know. They ordered an ultrasound for next week but didn't schedule a follow up appt. until two weeks after that, so in the meantime I wait. They didn't change meds(met and bcps) b/c I will go to endo in June and the resident said he may change everything anyway. She was so nice, but she suggested I find a private care doctor. I will probably wait to do that until I see them for the follow-up and see the endo. I know the endo normally deals with this but I really want to find two drs. that can consult with each other and get the best treatment. Just wanted to post. I went for intense pain, and am still having that and I thought I would come off the table when they did the speculum(spelling) and pap smear. I had gained 9 lbs. since late December while dieting on the IR diet. Ugh!!! Does it ever end? I think I am definitely going to order the Nutrisystem plan and try that. Do any of you have doctors that have given anything other than met to try and help with the weight??
I am in Columbus, GA. I am going to go see Dr. August. He is an endo. He was recommended by my endo that I was seeing, who I loooooovvvvvvvvveeeedddddddddd! I hated moving. I went to the clinic for the GYN b/c I don't know any good ones here who my insurance covers. I really want to find someone that understands the weight and doesn't think I am just saying I diet,etc. I have had that happen too many times. I would be willing to travel to Atlanta if I had to if it meant having a good dr. Atlanta is about 1 1/2 hours away, I think.
