Does anybody enjoy the author "Stormie O'martian" like I do?

I have read four or five of her books so far, and I am blessed every time I read one. Right now I am reading "Power of a Praying Woman." I have read "Power of a Praying Wife" and let me tell you it truly blessed our marriage. I try to pray for my husband specifically every day and I have bought the cards that go with the book to remind of the various aspects of my husband's life to pray for. I have bought "Power of a Praying Husband" for my husband and he has slowly come about reading it. He is not much of a reader. I have read "Praying God's Will for your Life" and let me tell you that really enhanced my understanding dealing with infertility and miscarriages.

I am not promoting the author, but I feel like she has shed some light on how to pray for different things/aspects in my life.

I give all the glory to my God.

Hi, laural,
Thank you so much for reminding me about this author. You know, long ago, when my DH and I were dating ('way back in 1981 or so...) we used to listen to her musician husband, Michael Omartian's recordings a lot!

I will definitely be looking into her books. I hear they are excellent. Also, maybe you could help me...I seem to recall a book by her with something in the title about ,"being on the step I'm on..." or something like that? Do you know which one that is? Thanks!

Its called "Just Enough Light For The Step I'm On". I got it from the library this summer, and never did get to read it because our old roommate read it. Maybe I will be able to get it again and read it.

Thanks for answering my question about that book title. (I was just too lazy to check at my library or the Christian Bookstore for the title!) LOL! I have heard it is a good one.

I have written down the other titles that you listed and will look for them.

After reading a well worn copy of "Praying Wife" that was being passed around among girlfriends, I bought and read "Praying Husband" b/f giving to my husband. I then bought and am reading "Praying God's Will".

My husband and I got into an argument shortly after I bought it and I was very upset with him. I accused him of being selfish and not wanting to do anything for anyone but himself. He left the house in a huff. When he returned he handed me my copy of "Praying God's Will". It had a personalized autograph to me from Stormie. I was so mad, that I had forgotten she was going to be at our neighborhood Christian bookstore. But he remembered. I was so touched. Needless to say we quickly forgave each other and made up.

A friend just let me borrow Paraying Wife and I absolutely love it! I will probably buy my husband the one for him.

I am reading the Praying Wife, Woman and Parent alternating days. I read the book "Stormie" and it was really amazing. I think she is a great author and she makes it easier to pray.
