Unhappy Does anybody know?

Can someone please help me? I was diagnosed with PCOS, hmmm, about last February I think. Anyway, when I was diagnosed they put me on Depo-Provera. Since then I've been extremely depressed. No one really sees it because I hide most of it. But I know the severity. I've aked 3 doctors to tak me of the shot but they all say no and move immediatley to another question, they don't really talk about it. Now, here's where I get confused. I don't now what's causng the depression, if it's the shot, PCOS, or the past, 3 years ago I my parents went through a divorce and there was a lot of emotional and verbal abuse in the house for a long time. And the regret of past mistakes (suicie attempts, drinking, smoking), I'm still hurting from all of that and so to me my depression is based on those thing's and not the shot or PCOS. I'm really confused. Can someone help me here? Any comments are welcome, feel free to e-mail me or IM me when I'm on. I would appreciate anything. Can someone please help me? Actually, the depression could be caused for any of the things that you have mentioned. However, if you never noticed it before going on the shot, I would think that may be the cause.

Also, you need to find a doctor that listens to you. If you do not want to be one the shot, they should take you off of it. You need a doctor that will help you find the best way to treat you with your input instead of just disregarding you.

Have you saw a psycharitist, they would be able to help you with depression so much better than a general doctor would be.

Pcos has been linked with depression as well.

You may have some issues that contribute to the depression that needs to be worked out also. Have you considered seeking a therapist.

I wish you the best and hope you find something to help you.

I hope you feel better soon.
