Hello all.. my question is :
does anyone get their hair back??? Mine is thinning and im awaiting the words IR-- but havent heard them yet... im wondering if anyone using spiro, or met has gotten their hair back......

I've been on Metformin and Yasmin for 8-ish months now and I started seeing lots of new hair growth after 6 months. Granted, I didnt have too much hairloss to start with, but it was bad enough that both me and my husband could tell. Now I have a bunch of new hairs that stick straight up and I love them!

I just quit taking Yasmin, and I asked my doctor if she thought that would affect the hair growth. She said it might or it might not. There was really no way to tell if it was Met, Yasmin or both that helped.

hey your lucky Met did not seem to improve my hair growth one iota ... I am back on Yasmin but I think its caused my blood pressure to rocket ..... but with all the treatments i have tried I am still losing large
