Does anyone experience pain during intercourse and/or bleeding afterwards?

When me and H2B are together I experience lower abdominal and pelvic pain and then spotting afterwards and sometimes heavy bleeding, anyone else experiencing the same?

I am experiencing severe pain but no bleeding. Intercourse is becoming so painful. I just dont want to be intimate anymore. But I have to make a baby.feeling really blue....and sad....

Hiya,

I sometimes experience light spotting after intercourse, but no pain. Don't know what causes this.

Yes, I was actually coming to ask that question myself. No bleeding, but a lot of pain during intercourse, and TMI alert- whenever I use a tampon.

I don't understand why, but it feels like I'm a virgin all over again.

Sorry to hear what you all are going through! Perhaps the best place to go is the doctors to see if there is any troubles?

I also experience pain during intercourse but no bleeding. I was thinking about callin my doctors about this.

Thank you so much for sharing with me, I was so afraid after I posted this thread that it was a little to much information, but Im glad to know Im not the only one, and I will let you all know if I find anything out.

You took the words right out of my mouth, everytime me and DH try to be intimate it feels like my first time, it just started about a year ago, as imbaressing as it's gonna be I need to tell my gyno. about it, and I will be letting you all know like I told her^ but if you all find anything out also I would very much appreciate the info, I havent been able to find much of anything online, everytime I type in (pain during intercourse) it always comes back with HPV or Pelvic Inflamatory Desease, I know it isnt anything like that, you would think that would have more info, huh?

Thank you for your post, when times are low it sure makes you feel better to know there are others that are there for you going through the same thing.

Dittos to the feeling like a virgin, TMI: sometimes men get larger depending on the excitment and mood, I have a lot of pain when my husband and I are intamite, but no bleeding.

I have pain occasionally with intercourse - mine is more a stabbing sensation when DH is deeper (sorry TMI) I don't know if this is what you have? The OB is thinking mine is low progesterone so I am currently taking prometrium. I was also having spotting mid-cycle without intercourse and that has gone away on the prometrium. Sometimes the pain is still there.

With me I am worried about fibroids and also a Dermoid Cyst as I had one on my left ovary and that gives me a 10% chance of getting one on the other. The pain is similar to that so watching it carefully. I haven't had severe bleeding, but that could be attributed to fibroids - my family has a very strong history of those so am aware of the symptoms.

Definately go to the DR. The weird thing about mine is that sex will hurt, but the exam won't.

hey Tigir, I have spotting as well in between cycles, like I would know. my cycles are so screwed up I never know whats considered 'norm' anyway, but I've definitely noticed the spotting inbetween, but I didnt even think nothing of it...ooops. but the last time I had a period..that would be may and june, there was spotting then as well, but i've not seen one since then.

Leopassion7 ~ Women with PCOS tend to have low progesterone levels so that can cause spotting mid-cycle. Maybe look into that, I am taking two more months of prometrium and then seeing what happens from there. I would even get this with excercise a few times. OB mentioned that when hormones are trying to level out (I had just had a baby about 4mo prior and just stopped nursing) you can get break through bleeding or spotting. I am hoping that is all it is!

Some other things that can cause the pain and bleeding are fibroids, bursting cysts, endometriosis and probably some other things I can't think of right now. I am just now seeing an ad for Vaginismus - maybe look at that. It says Vaginal Tightness? I know this isn't my issue, but with it feeling like the first time maybe start there.
