Hi ladies,
I am new to the forum and I would like to share some of my story. I was dx with pcos in 2001 and put on yasmin 28. After i began to see my hair begin to shed, I elected to stop that treatment. Since then, and it has been about 2 years, I have been losing hair profusely. I went to several dermatologists 2 told me I might have AGA , which is Androgenic Alopecia. I just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem and how they may be dealing with it.

Yes, the cause is likely high testosterone that is caused by high insulin levels in PCOS.

If you are off the Yasmin (I saw good, I hate bcps, they dont *fix* anything!) How else are you treating your PCOS?
