Question Does anyone have Cardiomyopathy?

I was diagnosed with Dialated Cardiomyopathy in January, 9 months after my 2nd child was born. I had a 102 fever when I delivered, severe anemia, and a white blood cell count that was over 20,000. They still have no idea what this major infection was from during delivery, and then I found out 9 months later I had Cardiomyopathy. They thought it was post pardum, but now aren't sure since it has not improved in the 18 months since my child was born (even though we have only known about it for 9) and it is not strengthening with meds.

Just this past week I went to the OB with an irregular late period and found out that both of my ovaries are full of cysts. My left one is enlarged and the right one is deformed. I was having stabbing pains in my ovary areas, and low back pain. This is when I found out that I have PCOS and am still in the process of having tests done. I started reading syptoms and saw heart problems. Does anyone else have Cardiomyopathy? I am beginning to wonder if all this is related.

I don't have cardiomyopathy, but I did some research on the subject when I was trying to figure out if that is what caused my 26 year old daughter's death. She had no health problems, no addictions. She had a 10 month old baby. Several people in the family had talked to her one night and she was fine. We found her dead at her home the next morning. The pathologist who did the autopsy could find no cause of death. So I researched sudden death and one of the things I came up with was cardiomyopathy. There is a special kind that can affect young mothers who are pregnant or have recently given birth. There is lots of info on the web.
