I was wondering if anyone takes Lo/ovral. I never see it mentioned anywhere. This is the birth control pill they would give you years ago for PCOS. I still take it but I am in my forties. The doctor really doesn't want me to take it because he is worried about blood clots. It really makes me gain weight too. Is anyone else taking this and does this cause weight gain also? I was on Lo-Ovral but it gave me terrible headaches and nausea the week before my period. I was put on Yasmin and it is so much better, but I get leg cramps on Yasmin. I tend to take them for a week or so, then stop them because of the leg cramps.

Thanks for letting me know that. I have bad headaches all the time and that might be the reason. Do you take Glucophage also? I have had several doctors wanting me to take it but I am scared too. I get side effects real easy and I am afraid to take it. I know it works wonders for other people.
