Default Does Flax seed help with facial hair?

I was wondering if anyone knew if flax seed helps control facial hair. I heard flax seed helps with acne so I've been taking two tablespoons a day for that, but I was curious if anyone had any success controlling unwanted hair with flax..thanks!!!

flax seed is supposed to help with facial hair as well as hair loss because it is an excellent source of omega3 fatty acids

I'm not sure about how much is too much but I imagine you can combine the two. You can also get flax seed in the form of the seeds ground up. I've even found this at the grocery store. I sprinkle it in with my breakfast shake and you can also cook with it and make tea from the seeds.

Can you give some other ideas, of how to eat the flax seed, I have a bad problem with losing the hair on my head and also with facial hair. Please give some ideas, I do have flax seed (my dad had bought some for himself but has not used it yet), so I can use his.

Purchasing whole seeds gives better quality. You can grind the seeds (with a coffee grinder or what ever you have handy) and use them in pretty much anything because they do not have flavour. You can add them into drinks like orange juice, sprinkle it over your cereal, cook it with rice. There is some debate whether you can eat it raw as a whole seed. It is belived that if you eat the whole seed raw it just passes through the body. You can make tea with the seeds by pouring boiling water over a tablespoon of seeds (for one cup) and add honey or peppermint leaves for flavor. Also adds a nice texture to homemade muffins, bread, pancakes, and cookies, whether mixing it in or sprinkling it on top before baking. If using this in your dough recipe keep a close eye on the bake time as it speeds things up abit. I also like adding flax to stirfry and roasted veggies.
