Question Does Met make you tried?

Hi everyone I've been taking met since the beginning of this cycle and I feel exhausted does it affect any of you like this? Or do you think its something else as last time I took it I don't remember this as a s/e. I'm on 1000mg. TIA

I think Met actually makes me lose sleep. I feel more alert and have a harder time falling asleep at night since taking Met.

When I first started taking met it made me super sleepy so she changed it to take it at night time and it has helped Im not so sleepy anymore. Try asking about switching the time of day you take it.

Default tired on met

I actually quit taking met because I was so exhausted. I took it at night which helped me go to sleep right away but I woke up feeling groggy and out of it. I only took it for 2 months though so maybe it gets better with time?

I haven't experienced being tired much. Just nauseated. Hopefully it will wear off soon!

I've had my good days and bad days with exhaustion since being on metformin. However, I did have a lot more tired days when I was adjusting to the different doses. After that, I had fewer problems.

Metformin makes me feel like I am struggling to keep moving. Unfortunatly I can't just take it at night. My doc has me on 1700mg and i take a pill twice a day. I am hoping that it gets better. I usually end up quiting mid way. The only advice I have is to stick with it. Everytime I try to quit he ups the dose the next time.

Met killed my energy too. And to-boot, I had to star taking it during the first trimester of my pregnancy so between morning sickness/being tired from being pregnant and nausea/being tired from Met I was a mess!
