Question Does Metformin affect ovulation test results?

I'm finding conflicting information online about this issue. Some say that women with PCOS have higher LH levels to begin with, so the tests don't work for that reason. But I just read two stories of women with PCOS who were very successful with the ovulation tests. I'm on metformin and I'm TTC!!! Help!!!!

i am wondering the same thing because i have heard that lh is higher in women with pcos also and so would assume that becuase of this the tests would be able to pick up a high level of lh all the time and so would constantly read as positive for ovulation. i am not completely sure though.
