I am having a hard time finding a deodorant that works. I used Secret for years then one day out of the blue it just stopped working. Now I'm searching for something else and nothing seems to work very well. I've gone through many different brands in the past few weeks and can't find one I like! Even though it's getting hot here, if I'm inside all morning I shouldn't stink for 11:00 am. LOL What do you use and did you ever have a deodorant stop working?

I thought I was the only one!!! I used to use Degree, but it stopped working for me. I now use Dove deoderant. I started using it because it takes care of your skin and it works very well for me. My dd uses lady speed stick, it works great on her. She has the stinkiest armpits and she is only 9!

i asked the doc about this because i used to sweat so much that i couldn't wear shirts with sleeves because they'd be soaked. not only embarrassing, but also physically uncomfortable. she said to try drysol, which is sold behind the counter in canada (don't know if it's available in the u.s. or mexico, but i imagine they'd have something similar). it's REALLY strong. i didn't react well to it at first: crazy itchy rash, but i kept using it because it was the first anti-persp i ever found that worked. my rash went away, too, after a few weeks. hallelujah, i didn't sweat AT ALL when i used it (once every three days!). my pits were bone dry.
i stopped using it now, though, because i'm trying a natural roll-on deodorant. (i'm wary of the chemicals in the drysol.) however, it works better as an anti-persp than a deo. i have to use it 2x/day so that i don't smell raunchy by the evening, but it works pretty well at stopping sweat at the source. if i'm going to wear a white t-shirt or a blouse, though, i still put the drysol on, first, the night before.

Have you tried a men's deodrant. I was too cheap to buy myself one and my DH is own so I use Men's Degree and it works most of the time. Just those few days for some reason I don't get it on all the way when I'm in a hurry. Good luck

I lather it on & it lasts all day. Secret used to work for me too.

I use ban invisible stick powder fresh scent. I sweat all the time (which I hate) but I never get stinky armpits. I use a generous amount. Rub it about 5 to 6 times, not sure if it makes a difference but I am paranoid about being stinky.
Oh my god, I definitely thought it was just me. Mine stopped working right around the time that I got diagnosed. Interesting.
Anyway, I've tried several since then -- including Dove, which someone above mentioned -- and none worked. I also have trouble because I have sensitive skin and can't use some, like Degree. But I've found that Mitchum for Women works really well for me, and doesn't irritate my skin at all.
Good luck!

I use ban antiperspirant, it works really good for me and i sweat alot. My 9 year old adopted daughter tried it but it didn't do well for her. She's had trouble with bad body odor since age 4. She's now using addidas antip/deod and it seems to be working.
I found something out a couple months ago. You know how you are supposed to change you shampoo and conditioner around every so often-just to revive you hair. Well the same goes for you deodorant. I had no idea!!!!...but it does make sense. I read somewhere that after so long you body become accustomed to the stuff you use daily. So i change my deodorant every now and then..maybe after a bottle or two....right now im using degree, but I also like secret.
There is also an anti-perspirant that i use for special days...like when im a birds maid in a wedding and wont have time to re-do myself, its called "Certain-Dry'....someone mentioned something like it above...put it on the night before and then again in the morning and your set....but its pretty strong so watch out! lol HTH

I love J.A.S.O.N Tea Tree Oil deodorant. It is all natural. paraben Free and I stay fresh all day! I have also used other J.A.S.O.N. products but I like the tea tree oil the best. It is a little more expensive but worth it!
For a while, I had a hard time looking for the perfect deodorant. None of them worked.

And here I was thinking I was the only one. I used Dove from the time it came out and then it just didn't work anymore. I am now using Secret Platinum Midnight Rose or something like that but am not completely satisfied with that either. Where do yu get this Certain Dry?

Most drug stores have Certain Dri. Go to walgreens.com and search on it and you will even find a generic that Walgreens makes named Extra Dry. It is in the deoderant section usually on the bottom shelf.
