Mine hasn't before (well, he was just my boyfriend at this time last year when I had my last gynecologist appointment) but this time I want to ask some questions about TTC-related things so I figured DH might as well go along. Anyone have any experience with this? Was it embarrassing, or was it good to have DH along? I really want him to hear whatever the doctor has to say about our TTC questions.

My DH comes with me to gyn appointments when he can get off work. He sits in the waiting room normally. I'm thinking of bringing him in with me for my November appointment since we will begin talking with gyn about TTC.

Well, I want him to actually come in the exam room with me. Maybe not for the actual exam but I definitely want to ask the doctor some questions... I want to try to figure out what our TTC odds are, if we can. And I think DH has some questions he wants to ask.

He did go with me to all of the appointments at the RE and most of the OB appointments. Since I've been going weekly for a while now, he says he'll come, but never shows. Sigh.

DH came to my second appointment with my new doctor. I was to find out the results of b/w and what "game plan" Dr. B had in mind. DH was so nervous in the room and kinda freaked out by the table. LOL! Afterward, DH finally understood some of the stuff I had told him about PCOS and what we would need to do to get pregnant.

My dh doesn't come with me at all but he doesn't have any q's because i ask them all. but if you both have q's then both of you should ask them be couase what one might not here the other one will. and as long as you have a dr. you like you should both fill ok about it . you have to ttc to gather so not ask together.
My DH comes in for the talking part but usually leaves for the exam part. He's not comfortable with the fact that the chair for partners/friends gives a really clear view of the exam! While we are obviously married and well-acquainted with one another I appreciate him giving a little privacy at this point!
If I asked him to he would..And he would be the one to ask all the ?'s because he's into learning new medical stuff

My Dh has came with me to all of my appointments over the last 13 years! He actually comes in to the exam room with me too! I think he understands more of what I have to go through on a daily basis, and he helps me explain things to my Dr. Especially about all of the weird hair growth I have going on.

I think it's great that you all have DH's who are willing to go into the room with you, My ex-fiance would NEVER have done that but my current BF seems like he would be caring enough to. My ex also didn't believe in IVF- knowing good and well I could be infertile while my new guy is all for it if we need it. I am sure the time will come when I drag him in there with me!

Mine has offered to come with me to the fertility doctor but he works 45 minutes away - I actually wish he could come to this one on thursday but he's in class this week so that's not going to be able to happen. But I'm glad he's showing support by offering to be there and I know he would go if I asked him too.

I am starting over. I have been working on my PCOS since 2002 - but never tried to take care of me for me (I was always focused on trying to have a baby). I have given up that dream and am focusing on me now.
DH didn't usually go with me until we were TTC. He went with me to all my RE appts and he goes to most of my OB appts when he can. I'm glad he was there, but it was wierd for him the first time or two.
