Right, what happened to everyone?! Let's get some updates here girls! I'll start...
26 weeks preggers now. Time is flying. Bubs is kicking up a storm these days. Had the big scan...everything is fine...still don't know the sex though. The baby wasn't giving it up for us...LOL Jolie is 18 months old now. She finally started walking the other day! It's about time! We had beent to a physio group to help her with her gross motor skills. We have a follow-up with physio tomorrow and one with the pediatrition next week.
Okay, so what happened to us?! Did y'all start a new thread and not invite me?...LOL Let's get this party started again, shall we? I'll go first...
I'm working on my new website for my photography business. Does someone want to have a look at it for me and tell me if you see any errors or anything that bugs the crap out of you? I don't have much in the gallery yet because I'm still building my portfolio, but I'll add more when I get more. Here's the temporary location: http://joliejones.com.au/juliet/
TIA!
Here is one of my lastest pics of Jolie
Also, if anyone knows anyone in Darwin that wants a free photo shoot to help me build my portfolio, send them my link...LOL

I'm trying to keep the forums for topics mostly related to PCOS, and too many questions in this forum are going unanswered, since few cysters venture off of their 'thread'.
Not picking just on you...this is going to be the fate of must 'buddy' threads that are more 'social' in nature.
In the near furture, the social groups will have more features to make communications easier.
Thanks!

Kat - Is there a way to get notification when someone has posted in a social group...similar to "new subscribed threads" from the forums? That's the only thing that's stopping me from using the social forums instead.

No, there are no notifications yet. I'm going to expand the groups section as soon as the capability is available, but in the meantime, the main board has become way too overrun with purely social threads, and members with real questions about pcos are being ignored.
If members of social threads made an effort to venture out beyond their thread, it wouldn't be a problem, but since that isn't the case...off to Social Group land you go

I agree...it's hard to see those poor little people with questions through all the buddy threads. I thought that's why we were moved to a buddy threads section?
Anyway, it would be a shame if us "buddies" didn't have a place to go. I have been a part of one buddy thread for four years now and they are like my family. We'll just have to get them all to move to the social groups instead.

i'm not really sure how/why the buddy thread thing got started, but it's gotten out of hand...I wouldn't mind, if cysters would at least take a moment or two each week to scan the threads and respond to one or two. I'm hoping that by moving the social threads to the social section, the forums can be more for cysters looking for help and cysters willing to help.
