Thread: Don't know what to do!

I take 20 mg of Paxil and 1 mg of Klonopin, both for anxiety. The doctor I most recently had been seeing is about 40 miles away from where I'm living now (I just moved). I had an appointment about a month or so ago and forgot all about it and just didn't show up. Well, since then, I haven't called to make another appt. He just seemed a little strange to me, (this is going to sound weird) I felt like he was always staring at my chest! So I'm not upset about not having him for a doc anymore anyway.

Anyway, my problem! I have plenty of Paxil to get me through to my next appointment (with a new doc) on Dec. 31st. However, I only have 3 1/2 Klonopin to get me through until then. I've been beating myself up for not making an appt sooner, as all the docs are unavailable until the first of the year! I don't know what to do though! I'm almost out of meds, and that's the one I depend on the most. My primary doc won't give me a scrip for it because it's a controlled medication. I thought about calling my previous doc, but I remember a sign on their wall saying they will not call in scrips, you have to see a doctor first.

What should I do??!!

It sounds like you don't have much of a choice with your situation. What did you end up doing? Going to the old doctor for a renewal of that scrip?
