??? Don't Know what to do = Femara/Letrazole

this will be my 3rd cycle of femara starting tonight. my first cycle was 2.5 mg 2 pills daily 3 - 7. the dr was supposed to increase as needed. my second cycle dr was not available and the dr there left my script the same. now i'm on cycle 3 and my dr's nurse said dr increasing script to 5mg 2 pills daily 3 - 7, silly me I did not check the script, i shouldn't have to, so my husband fills it, i come home from work and it's the same as before, my dr office is closed and the on call dr is the one from cycle 2 that is not familiar with my chart, i try to explain and he cuts me off (it's the holiday and he has better things to do) he said he called me in the same script and he doesn't believe me dr would want me taking 2 5mg pill daily 3 - 7 because that would be too high, so he says to take 1 extra = 3 2.5mg daily 3 - 7. so now I don't know what to do. he is the only dr on call till monday.

anyone have any opinions or has taking 3 pills that were 2.5 mg each a day for days 3 - 7 before?

also would you confront your dr about the way the other dr was? he was very rude to me

I am actually doing my first cycle of femara. My dr prescribed me 3 2.5mg pills per day. I have no idea what the standard dosage is, so I am just assuming that he has me on the right dosage. We will see...today is day 7 so we shall see what happens. I would definately tell your dr about the rude guy. If you are not comfortable telling your doc, speak to the office manager and tell him/her what happened. Some docs think they are so high and mighty....sorry this happened. I would also call the after hours service and have your doc call you in what you need. Keep us updated!!
