about a week ago I had a very hot feeling in my breast. The whole time my nipples have been been red. they only hurt when they are bumped. And today I have been very moody. I don't know what is going on. Does anyone have any idea's. I took a pg test and it was neg. but my doctor said it was to soon. help!

Go to the Dr. and get a blood pg. test if you feel that you are pregnant....oh btw..I love your name...my nickname is Winnie. lol I used to look like Winnie Cooper from the Wonder years...but I do hope you figure out what is causing it!!

Yea I second the blood test. Or wait a few more days and take another test. Other than pregnancy I don't know what it could be. Could you be ready to start AF?

It could be Mastitis which is an inflammation of the breast, and there is swelling, redness, tenderness and pain.

symptoms:
Part or all of the breast is intensely painful, hot, tender, red, and swollen.
You feel tired, run down, achy, have chills or think you have the flu.
You have chills or feel feverish, or your temperature is 101F or higher.

I would go and see your Dr and get them to see whats up, as you don't want it getting to a stage where it becomes infected. Only an idea as to what may be causing your problem.

could be an inflamation of a milk duct.. I got an infection in there once, how? I havent the slightest clue but it felt similar to that, but i dont remember the moodiness. Is there any discharge? I also know that you can get a surface yeast infection on your nipples, had a friend with that, it was very red and swollen and very itchy.. eek.

I would definately go see a doctor.
