Default dont have pcos? but have cyst need advice

Dont know where to start .I feel totally bloated , pain in legs also stomach and generally feel shi*ty.I had the most painfull pains ever on a scale of 1 - 10 i'd say 10 + .When i went to the hospital kept getting told "Midcycle pain" go home. Id Been like this for around two weeks .After many hospital trips finally i had a scan and apparently i had a cyst that was 2cm that was filled with blood that had ruptured.Ive been told this was normal cyst? women get them every month , it will go away now by itself as its ruptured ?I still feel really bloated and awful pains now and then.
Are theses cysts normal due to eggs being released ?

Sometimes women have a particularly painful follicule rupture (ovulation), but a 2cm, blood-filled cyst sounds like it could be more than that. Two cm sounds like the size of a relatively normal ovary!

Have you talked to a GYN? Particularly someone that has a special interest or a lot of experience with ovarian cysts would probably be best.

I hope you feel better!!! (((Hugs)))

Hi,
This is what a doctor told me but it was a doc at hospital not a gynocoligist..
Personally the pain was horrendous, naseau chills ets i have never felt pains like it.
The NHS in britain - no comment !.I was diagnosed midcycle pain to food poisoning .The cyst apparently was just over 2cm ruptured the blood gone into stomach cavity ive been told this is all normal and willl go away- end of!
I had to fight for a scan to even find this out .
The doc said everymonth you get a cyst which is not really a cyst and the egg pops out of it , this one filled with blood. To me over 2cm is pretty big for an egg to pop out? since eggs are microscopic?
Also the pain was the worst pain i have ever had and had it for hours with a break then days later started again.I had all shooting pains down leg then sweats and was litrally crying - i didnt feel pain like that when i had my children ( i had them natural drug -free).I dont know if anyone else has experienced this.Im not a person to worry over the least little thing. In fact this incident is the first time in my life ive ever been ill and to hospital but to me it doesnt sound like normal thing??? .
