hey all, i just wanted some advice from some Uk girls. i just found out im pregnant its very early i wouldnt really want anyone to know til 12 weeks.

unfortunately i work as a support worker and there is some lifting involved and pushing heavy wheelchairs and equipment etc, for this reason i think i should tell them as soon as possible, however im on month 5 of a 6 month probation so they could sack me, obviously they wouldnt say it was because i was pregnant, they would say it was another reason. i just dont know what to do, one minute i decide to tell them the next i think i can wait a month, but any one have any advice i would really appreciate it!

at 12 weeks is the norm and secondly they wouldnt dare fire you over it, they wouldnt pretend it was something else because at the end of the day they would know it was not and if you took them to court for unfair dissmisal they would loose.

Because of your situation I would say now as you do not want to risk anything.
