My Mood: Points: 16,488.42 Bank: 105,237.45 Total Points: 121,725.87 | double periods with provera? hey, so i've been taking provera for 3 months and everytime i get my period and then a week after its finished i get a second full period. does this happen to anyone else? does it mean i might be able to mensturate on my own? what is going on!

The provera is progesterone, and Ov'ing that soon after, and then having withdrawl bled that soon after... just doesn't make sense. I do not not think it's regular AF in any case. A regular menstruation is when you Ov and then get AF as a result of Ov'ing. I would assume this is anovulatory withdrawl bleeding of some sort.
How long did you go without AF before you took the provera? Maybe your lining was really built up?
Have you called and discussed this with your DR? I think you definitely should, because something wonky is going on and you should at least make sure everything is okay.

My Mood: Points: 16,488.42 Bank: 105,237.45 Total Points: 121,725.87 | i told him after it happened the first month and he said it was just my body being wonky because my hormones are so screwed up. i see my RE in a few weeks so ill talk to her. im not going to take the provera this month because i'm going to be camping for 2 weeks and, yeah i dont want to be bleeding then.
