Unhappy Down in the dumps

I was diagnosed with PCOS 3 years ago and I have been on Metformin for 2 1/2 years. I have recently (3 months ago) started taking Chlomophene to try to get pregnant. I find that I have been depressed or near tears a lot more than normal. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks,
Sandra

Unhappy

Sandra, I know exactly how you feel. I have been on Clomid now for three cycles, all with BFN. I get more discouraged every month. I have O'd two out of the three months though. I am currently on 100mg. How about you?

I have definitely been very teary and depressed. I told my husband that I feel like a failure, but now poor thing, so is he. I really don't know how to get out of this "funk" I am in. I am trying to be positive. Hoping next month will be the month.

Anyway, take care and know that you are not alone in this battle.

Love,
Tabby

I took several cycles of clomid as well. My dr. said that since I have an anticardiolipin antibody that if would be a good idea for me not to conceive for fear of not being able to carry it. Anyway she told me that the clomid will cause mood swings the farther you go with it. I did the same thing that your doing. I cried for no reason at all. Sometimes over the smallest and simplest things. I really hope that it works for you. Babies are a precious gift and it hurts deeply when women without this problem take theirs for granted.
