Default Dr Appointment Tomorrow

I'm yet to get diagnosed as having PCOS or IR, but I have my Dr's appointment tomorrow to get the results from my first lot of blood tests back, and I am so nervous!! I'm really scared that the results will come back to show that it's not PCOS or IR afterall, even though I have so many symptoms and signs pointing to the fact that it is, and I will have to start the round of pointless appointments, testing, scans and the rest for nothing. I have been sick for so long, and I am so ready for something to be found so I can get treatment and get healthy again. Did anyone else feel like this at the beginning of their diagnosis?

Good luck with your appointment Bethwyn. For your sake, I hope it's not pcos, but if it is you have already done so much to learn about treatments etc.
When I finally got a diagnosis, it was a relief to know I had some answers, but anxiously waiting for test results was difficult.
Hope you have a great doc and can get started on your road to a healthier life, let us know how things turn out.

Good luck tomorrow, Bethwyn. It's always worse not knowing. Blood tests aren't always conclusive and I know the tests are a pain, but they're a step towards getting this PCOS crap under control You know your body better than anyone and following a lot of the advice on various boards about healthy options helps everyone, not just PCOS girls, right? Hell, you're an Aussie; you invented healthy lifestyles right?

Thanks guys I've been to the Dr's and started a new thread because I have some questions. I'm all confused at one of the results now, which isn't hard when you're me, lol.
