well i finally go see my doctor about meds today. since being a sc junkie lol i feel very ready to go in and know what medications i think may help me. Im still a little nervous though to find out the final test result(glucose). i have a complete physical today and us at the end of the month. i know im IR so today is day one of the IR diet wish me luck!!
just wanted to thank everyone for being so helpful and ill let you know how the dr appt went.

well dr appt went really well, i am IR , glucose was high but she wants to see how the metformin works first before pursuing diabetes so thats a good thing. I am starting a low cholesterol diet asap, if i do this with the met she said i may prevent having to take the insulin shots for diabetes.

Mentioned this site, she's been reasearching and is offering to post more of what she knows( i gave her the addy) in addition she has no problem with her name being posted for others in my area to go and see her.

her name is Dr. Jennifer Reiss she asked that any canadian cysters in the edmonton area make a reference to pcos when calling about an appointment.

I feel great!!!!!!!!!!!!
