I'm looking for a good, fat-friendly RE. I live in OKC and did not have a good experience with the RE I had here, Dr. Latasha Craig. She shoved weight loss surgery down my throat as my only option, even after I told her repeatedly I was not interested, and at a size 20 with no difficulty doing anything I want to do, and generally more stamina and energy than my normal weight DH, I really don't feel like its appropriate.

So enough about that, I was wondering if anyone could tell me about Dr. Judith Blackwell in Tulsa. It would be a two hour drive but that might be worth it if she's a great doc.

Tell me about her if you can!

I was a patient of hers back in 2000. I was not impressed, she basically told me I did NOT have PCOS and was just going to send us back to my regular GYN.

Luckily for us, we moved from Tulsa to wichita right after she said that and got proper diagnosis/treatment and have two children now.

Maybe she's learned more in the last 9 years?

If you're interrested in driving to Wichita there's an awesome doctor there I'd gladly recommend. (who never once brought up my weight - I was 260 when he helped me conceive my DD)
