Points: 3,444.00 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 3,444.00 | Dr in Houston I would highly recommend this Endocrinology Associates in Housotn Texas, Dr Orzeck is great, after having some problems with my diabetic problems this June I went to this Dr. and explained to him i've had problems with PCOS over 25 years, and he ran all kinds of blood work, talked to both myself and my DH for over 40 minutes the first time, answered alot of questions, took me seriously after so many years of not being heard. I would recommend him very highly. I'm very satisfied with him, and in June he dx me with Metabolic Syndrome, changed my insulin as that the other Dr had me on the wrong insulin, before my blood sugar was running any where from 150 to over 200, and since i've been on this new insulin, it's running 100-120, have had one reading of 170 and one of 150 since then, and i'm feeling so much better, and in alot better spirits, it's finally feels good after 25 years of Dr's not listening to me, to finally have some one listen to me and DX me right, and getting on the right care. Maybe if I would of had this a long time ago, I would not of had to go through all I did cause of not being DX properly.
Thanks for listening to me... |

We haven't really addressed my PCOS though, as she is concentrating on my thyroid. She did however give me scripts for Met and Spiro...I just told her what my Dr in San Antonio had me on and she said that was great and gave me the scripts...yeah! I will find out in the next month (hopefully this ordeal with my thyroid will be over by then) and let you know if she is a good as she seems so far.

We meet in Dr. Allon's office. He is very knowledgable about PCOS. I would recommend seeing him if you can't get downtown. He is great. |

Points: 134.63 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 134.63 | before i moved to colorado for school, i went to doctor zaniewski.
she was totally awful.
she put me on high levels of thyroid medication (without even checking to see if i had a condition), and breeched patient confidentiality by talking to a relative of mine (im not a minor).
i ended up getting sicker than i was before from all the unnecessary meds she put me on.
if you get laser hair removal done outside of her office, she puts you at a low priority.
boo. |
