Here is a link to the Find a Doctor section on this website that has several Mo docs listed. There were none listed in Columbia, but there is an RN listed that is a specialist in nutrition/diabetes.
St. Louis has several good docs listed; one of them is actually a relative of mine (Dr. Anthony Pearlstone). Too bad he's a cousin, otherwise I'd probably be going to him (I just wouldn't feel comfortable as it is, though!) http://www.soulcysters.org/browse.php?cat=79
