Default Dr. in the Richmond, VA area?

I'm seeing John Marshall/ Dr. Lieb at UVA and I have been pleased so far. I feel like I am finally getting some answers. Dr. Marshall is a endocrin doctor. His speciality is PCOS. He has done a lot of studying with it. UVA is only about an hour or so drive from Richmond. It's worth checking out. I have to drive to UVA as well but it's worth it. there isn't doctors where i live that can properly treat me. Hope this helps.

I went to Dr. John Nestler at VCU, Richmond when I was first diagnosed since I grew up in Baltmore. I think he was one of the doctors who was at the forefront of the Metformin research.
More importantly, he is amazingly nice and very compassionate.

I will be going to see Dr. Chris Williams and the Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville. He and his team are supposed to be great!

Martha Jefferson Hospital? In Charlottesville? I never knew there was another hospital there. lol Just UVA. That's like a big one. A very good hospital. Hmmm. Do you know if it's a smaller hospital or big or anything about it? When is your appointment going to be ?

Hey - if you can MAKE the drive - Dr. John Schmitt (Schmidt?) associated with UVA in Charlottesville is pretty great. He came highly recommended from my mothers cancer team there.
