Anyone know of any Dr.'s that will prescribe Flutamide? Or had it prescribed to them. I'd like to try it and Im almost positive my Endo will say no!

Yes please do. And I'll do the same! I live in Sac as well, my endo is Dr. Plante, she knows absolutely nothing about HL/PCOS. Im looking for a new endo, possibly UCD davis. I want to try Flutamide. Spiro has worked some, but I want something stronger.

The Scale will budge in due time, however I do tend to show the loss before the scale does.



Diagnosis's: Asthma

Medicines: Proventil HFA (1 puff every four hours as neeed for shortness of breath)

Im in Fair Oaks so we're not that far. Im currently trying to get in to see Dr. Kasmin at UCD. She specializes in PCOS and I've heard shes really good and progressive! Oh, what dose of spiro are you on?? My endo won't raise mine past 100mg!!

I was wondering about what I should do since the only times I have seen a doctor about PCOS was a reproductive endocronologist to try to conceive, but since I got diagnosed in 2004 I haven't really seen any specialists to help me with all of the other symptoms, does your insurance cover it? I have Kaiser and I live close to Rancho, what do you guys recommend?
