Dr. says Homo MTHFR a1298c is no problem I just found out what particular kind of MTHFR I have, and my Dr. says that only the C677T version is connected to m/c, and that the homozygous a1298c wouldn't cause recurrent pregnancy loss. I know there is disagreement over this. Has anyone else received different advice from a Dr.?
Also, before I talked to him, I looked up Folgard 2.2 and started taking the equivalent in OTC vitamins and a baby aspirin. He said those levels of vitamins would be fine, but I forgot to ask him about the BA. I know a lot of ladies take baby aspirin just for implantation help. Is it harmful to take long term? Do you take throughout pregnancy?
One more question: he said I might have an issue with my uterus, that it might be "out of sync" with my cycle, and unreceptive around the time of my ovulation. He suggested that my regular OB do a "uterine biopsy" to see if my lining was receptive at the right time. Anyone else had this?
THANKS for any help!
