dr in scotland I have had some success, yes. Dr Helen Lyell at Glasgow's Royal Infirmary Assisted Conception Unit is great and has just put me on Metformin. I didn't even have to persuade her. She seems kind and to be a good listener too. If you're in Aberdeen I guess you'd probably have to see her privately, and I know she does do that. If you do end up at the Royal AVOID Dr Yates, at the same unit. I saw him first and found him patronising, dismissive, uncaring and rude. Everything that's awful in traditional medicine. Its just amazing that the only two consultants in the same unit can be so different. If I'd stuck with Yates I wouldn't be on Metformin now.
