Default Dr. in Triangle (NC) area! Preferrably Western Wake Drs.

I have heard good things about Dr. Welch and Dr. Maydew (Cary OBGYN). Has anyone seen these dr. or been to their practices? I am leaving Dr. Brannon at Brannon and Rogers. He was very insensitive about my chemical pg and he really hurt my feelings... and wouldn't listen... he was really not very nice at all...

Anyway, Thanks for any imput on these or names of others!!

You should join www.trianglemommies.com. There are a lot of reviews of these docs on there. I actually started a conversation in the Trying to Conceive and pregnancy section called, "I need a new OB Now" and I think these docs were mentioned. But you can do a search, there are lots of reviews of offices.

I like one doctor in particular at Blue Ridge OBGYN, but as you will see from my trianglemommies post, I was having issues with the office....They don't like for you to see the same doc when pregnant. I had a d&c done yesterday-my favorite doc did it. Each time I have had him for my doc, he has been wonderful. I don't particularly care for the other's though.

Let me know if you need more info. I can pm you specifics.

Oh I just read your profile on fertility friend. My doc says we also have to wait 2 months after the d&c. Its just so that your uterus can strengthen back up prior to another baby implanting.

But I have heard the same remarks about your doctor and how insensitive they are.

Pm me if you want more details...I will see if I can copy and paste some of the info from trianglemommies here.

HI Ladies,
I use to live in NC for 6 years. I loved Dr Brannon and Dr Rogers. Dr Brannon actually went threw hurdles with me in order to get the right mix to have me conceive both of my boys. He delivered both of my sons. This was nine and six years ago so things may have changed. I have since moved back to FL and had my daughter here. I am sorry you had such a bad experience with them. I loved them/

I went for a first appt with Physicians for Women and I was thoroughly impressed. They are WONDERFUL! They are high risk ob's and will do all the testing necessary before you get pregnant to ensure that they know the health of everything so that hopefully you will have a healthy pregnancy. They do all the tests that an RE would do. They are very comprehensive.
