Dr. in Walla Walla, WA

Hi,

I'm sure many of you have experienced what I have with doctors. They are mostly men, they don't understand or believe you, and often they think that you're crazy. Now, however, I'm thrilled to say that I've found an awesome "doctor." (She's actually an ARNP, and I'm not really sure what the difference is.) Anyway, she has really helped me, so if you live in the Walla Walla area, she is a great person to go to. She is:

It is really easy to get an appointment with her, and she has given me the best healthcare I have ever gotten.

Hello Whitetiger....WOW you are 45 min away from me. So is this your doc? What does she treat? At one time I had a choice to go to Walla Walla or Spokane to see a doc and chose Spokane.

That is so good to know that there is a good dr in the general area. Just in case we move back to the area. I use to live in the Tri Cities for years, but am now in Colorado. Before I moved away I use to tell my dr there was something wrong but all he said is be happy you dont have a normal monthly. at least a dr in the area will now listen to women.

Well, she is mostly just a gyno., but she tries really hard to treat every aspect of women's health, and she'll refer you to any specialist that you want, which is great. However, just the fact that neither of you live in Walla Walla gives you an advantage right there. :-) It is almost impossible to find anybody good, and not just for PCOS, but for anything.

And Cathy, while I do live in Walla Walla (College Place, actually), I go to WSU in Richland, 3 days a week--what a drive! If you ever want to get together and complain, :-) that's where I am. My e-mail is colson@tricity.wsu.edu.

Edswife, I am so happy for you that you don't have to live around here anymore. Hope you are getting the healthcare you deserve now.
