HI..

I suffer from mood swings also. One day I'm fine..lovable and sweet; then the next day I'm mad as he!!; and every little thing bugs me. I live with my fiancee so you know it drives him crazy. He says that I can control it, but sometimes I'm not so sure. Isn't there a drug for that? Paxil maybe?

I was on paxil for almost 2 years, it did seem to help for a while but I wore it out, my bloodwork showed trace amounts and I was taking 30mg. a day.I loved the "even-ness" in my moods though. I have heard effexor is better, I am not sure.I am going to have to go back on something, I have been off anti-depressants for almost 3 years, some days are living hell in my mind. I also have the anger thing, seldom am I sad but i do get pissed and I cannot control it, no one can or alot of people wouldnt be on drugs for it!! My husband also makes the smart remarks that "I am a woman and none of us can be satisfied or happy" I beg to differ! Since pcos has alot to do with almost all of our body, it wouldnt surprise me if it were related. I wish research could pin point alot of these issues...

i have the sometimes drastic moodswings, but it usually occurs before/during my period when i get them. the other day i was fine, happy, and lovable, but now i've spent the past two days barely saying a word and crying for absolutely no reason what so ever. i've also had the near blinding raging out of nowhere thats sometimes really scary.
