Default Drowning/Surviving

Drowning/Surviving Part 1
I wrote this when I was really depressed. My mum hates this poem, when she read it she likened it to a leaf in a pond. I however see this as my boundary poem, between depression and recovery. I hope ill find more understanding here!

I thought that I could swim,
But Im sinking,
Fast and slow,
Down I go,
Drowning,
Drowning.
Colours have all faded,
All I see is grey,
Fast and slow,
Down I go,
Drowning,
Drowning.
Im battling with the darkness,
Im losing the fight,
Fast and slow,
Down I go,
Drowning,
Drowning.
I thought I could survuve,
But Im dying,
Fast and slow,
Down I go,
Drowning,
Drowning.
